Thank you to Sharon and Melissa at The Cat's Meow for hosting The Cat's Pajamas Trunk Show this weekend.
Not only did I get a chance to meet the store cats, Mittens and Peaches, and meet their wonderful customers, but I was able to be at a truly original Rubber Stamp & Scrapbooking store. There are not too many of them left, and I really encourage you to visit them. They have a great selection of goodies and they are in a beautiful location, not too far from Yosemite. And you just might get a chance to see Oprah.

Are you near Oakhurst, California? Well, that's where I'll be from 10-3 at The Cat's Meow! Don't you just love that name? For some reason, I adore it. ;)
Anyway, I'll be there Saturday, October 30 with a whole trunk of The Cat's Pajamas goodies and a FREE Make and Take. So if you are in the area, drop by and say "Hi".

TCP Tuesday 131
It's Tuesday, so it must be TCP Tuesday. And not only is it TCP Tuesday, but it's the day that we announce the winner of our Think Pink Customer Blog Hop. If you don't know already, the winner will win ALL the new stamp sets that we are releasing next month and will play along with us during our new release blog hop and during our release party!
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness we decided to dedicate this month to PINK. And to celebrate the winner of our Think Pink Customer Blog Hop, The Cat Pack is having it's own blog hop. So if you got here from Susan's Blog you are in the right place.
The Hostess with the Mostess is Amy. And her challenge is a supply challenge. It's pretty simple, really. Use any embellishment that is Pink. I used the stamp from "Who's This?" The metal "Adore" started life all pink, but I smeared a little black Stazon to make the words and scrolls pop. Then I used a pink copic to color three rhinestones pink. Sorry, you can only see one, but they are really pretty.
So now the winner of the Think Pink Blog Hop. There were so many great entries that I couldn't choose. Y'all really pulled out all the stops! So many really awesome posts. So rather than choose, I used the old random generator.
And the winner? Number 19! Lori Tecler. Lori's done so many great designs with our stamps, and this entry is no different. I love that she stamped on the ribbon and chose a non-traditional background for the sky. And that she tore green paper to give the impression of grassy hills. Brilliant! Congrats, Lori!
Play along and you could be Swanky Stamper of the Month and win a $25 Shopping Spree at The Cat's Pajamas. C'mon, you have until the end of the month to play.

TCP Tuesday 130
It's Tuesday, so it must be TCP Tuesday.
I can't believe we are at Challenge #130! Time flies.
The oh-so inspirational Toni is the Hostess with the Mostess, with her inspiration challenge this week.
She wants you to be inspired by this sweet little cup. Not only can you be inspired by what it is, but by what it means. Breast Cancer Awareness.
And if, you are so inspired, want to send your card to someone who will appreciate them as much as I do, send them to UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
Because UT MD Anderson is part of the State of Texas, they ask that no religious messages/sentiments be included on cards mailed to them.
Cards mailed should include an envelope, and be packaged in a clear envelope or a cellophane bag to protect them while patients and their families choose cards from those donated.
Cards should be mailed to:
[I]The Department of Volunteer Services – Unit 115
Attn: Maggi Suttles
UT MD Anderson Cancer Center

Welcome, Julie!
I've had my eye on one, Julie Masse, for quite some time now. She's been a multi-time Swanky Stamper, and a very busy gal. Not only is she one of the founders of Stamping Around New England, but she is constantly in demand as a designer, being on countless teams. AND she is a mom to FIVE!
Lord knows I've been patient, waiting for a spot to open up in her busy life for The Cat to pounce and ask her to join us, but you know, busy.
So when she finally let me know she was interested, yes I pounced. Not only do I adore her clean, bold style, but I adore her. I get the privilege to see Julie every so often and it is a treat, I assure you.
So, I'm happy to announce that Julie is joining the Cat Pack. Please join me in welcoming her.

TCP Tuesday 129
It's Tuesday, so it must be TCP Tuesday. The fantabulous Leigh is taking a little break from stamping, so I am taking over her sketch challenge this week. And I have a pretty versatile one, methinks.
Use the sketch as a jumping off point. You can turn it sideways. Move the star element up and down and around. The point is to just have fun.
Here's my take on the sketch, check out the other members of The Cat Pack for their take on this sketch.
And since this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I did this card in PINK as well.
Play along and you could be Swanky Stamper of the Month and win a $25 Shopping Spree at The Cat's Pajamas. C'mon, you have until the end of the month to play.

Swanky Stamper of the Month
Jenny Petersen — Swanky Stamper for October
Take a look at this card and tell me, can you smile even harder? That's what I kept asking myself when I first saw this card. To really appreciate it. You must go to Jenny's Blog and check out all the fantabulous details.
Yes, that is sparkley tinsel around the apron. Yes, that is lace around the border. Yes, that is PJ, and he/she is purple. And YES, those are eyeballs floating around that bowl. Well, what else could you have floating around in "Eyeball Soup", I ask you? Jenny, you have found my weakness, Halloween and icky things like eyeball soup. And for that, you are Swanky Stamper of the Month.
