TCP Tuesday 224 and the Weekly Winner

Thank you for your patience, everyone. Blogger was not cooperating. But, lucky for me, I have several computer whizzes on The Cat Pack who helped me work around my issues.

For those of you who played in last week's TCP Tuesday Stamp Challenge, here is the place to put your cards. Susan was our Hostess with the Mostess and her challenge.....? Water!

Susan says:
I take care of the stamp/CutUps challenge and this week, the theme is:

Water, Water Everywhere!

Use any TCP stamp that implies water--whether liquid or frozen. (Sailing bunny, Puddle girl, Fun in the Sun, etc., even winter images/snow.) This should be super easy because there are so many! Combine your stamp choice with one of these CutUps dies:Wave Border or Snowflake
First, head on over to Susan's Blog. She has THE most darling gift bag/box for Christmas! Yes, I said Christmas! And it's just so sparkley sweeet. Take a peek.

Nancy always mixes and matches the paper on her cards to perfection! And this sweet one is no exception! Her waves really look like they are moving!

Amy's scrappy card is perfection! I don't know how she does it, but she always knows when to stop adding. All her cards are just right.

Jen's Winter card is as classic and original as Jen herself. And a little fun, of course.

Julie missed Lori's Color challenge, but decided to combine it with Susan's Water challenge with wonderful results. I love this image and her paper piecing. Is it just me that finds paper piecing so peaceful?

Lori, used the same little girl in her card, but the look is totally different. Lori has me panting with her coloring!

And Jenny's bold and happy card is just the perfect end to this challenge with her striking paper choices.

Did I say end? Actually, not the end. Just add your entry to the inlinkz button below and join the rest of the peeps that played along with this challenge and you could win some Cat's Cash.

Then, head on back on over to Amy's blog. She is challenging you use a sketch! It's the one that she chose for last week's water challenge. Work on it this week and post it on this blog on Monday for another chance to win some Cat's Cash.

TCP Tuesday Update

I have gotten a lot of questions about my blog lately, regarding the fact the challenges that I post are not as timely as they have been.

Many of our Design Team post on different days of the week. And, unless you follow all of them, (which you should, because they are really awesome) it's a little hard to know who is posting when.

I tried to post each day that the team would post, but that was a challenge in itself.

So, being the executive, I've made the executive decision to post a recap of the week on Mondays. A recap of the challenge with links to the Design Team members who participated in the challenge. For you, it gives you a place where you can easily find links to all the Cat Pack who played along. For me, it gives me a little extra time to fill orders, and draw.

I am sorry if it caused any confusion!

TCP 223 and the Weekly Winner

Last Week's TCP Tuesday's challenge for the week was a Color Challenge! Our Hostess with Mostess was Lori! And she challenged you to use Rose, Sunshine, and Teal in your project.

Lori says:
It’s my turn to host the TCP Tuesday challenge and I picked the colors for week's challenge with hot summer days in mind.   We’re playing with a bold and bright mix of colors combination—rose, sunshine, and teal. Feeling the heat, right?
Amy is feeling the heat with her pretty scrappy card. She uses lot's of pretty die cut shapes and the stamp is the focus of this card.

Nancy puts a twist into her card and shows that these colors are not just for Summer! They are also perfect for when the chill is in the air.

Amy puts a vintagey look into her card. Love all the different textures and the playfulness that make up this card. So pretty!

And I ADORE this sweet card by Jen! Just a wonderful mix of shapes and and patterns. And her jaunty little cloud? SWEET!

Want to play along? Just add your entry to the inlinkz button below and you could win some Cat's Cash.

The TCP Tuesday Challenge and Weekly Winner

TCP Tuesday's challenge for the week was a Technique Challenge! And our Hostess with Mostess was Julie! Her challenge? To use Washi Tape!

What is washi tape? Washi tape is Japanese "Masking Tape". It's thin, and comes in wonderful patterns and textures and Washi Tape is HOT!!  Our challenge today is to pull out your Washi Tape stash and actually use it, on a card or project!

Julie says:
I took a quick look around and there are so many interesting and fun ways to use it!! I am definitely going to try some of the cool things I saw, but today I used it to die cut with!  By nature, washi tape is pretty thin so if you layer it on a piece of cardstock so you should be able to run it through your die cutter with no problem!

Want to see more washi tape goodness? Here is what The Cat Pack did with their washi tape.

So take a look at what Julie did with washi tape! Does it want to make you pull out your stash!

How about Nancy's pretty card? She uses washi tape as a background and the main focus is on the stamp and Nancy's wonderful coloring.

Or Amy's Scrappy Card. I must admit, that scrappy cards are really hard for me to make, but Amy's cards always make me want to try.

The beauty of washi tape is that it tends to be a little see through, as well. So when it is overlapped, it gives a whole new look. Like Jen's clean and simple card. Very simple, but very sophisticated.

And Lori's fun design. Her washi tape takes center stage.

Want to play along? Just add your entry to the inlinkz button below and you could win some Cat's Cash.

If you need some more inspiration to pull out your stamps, hop over to Susan's blog and check out her pretty, pretty card. All dressed up and ready to go to the Circus.

One place I always look for inspiration is Amy's blog. She always looks at stamps and paper in a different way.

Then check out the Nancy's card. She truly is a master of mixing and matching patterned papers. Her card is just delightful.

And let's not forget about Amy! Her card is scrappy goodness personified. Truly and wonderful and unique look from a wonderful and unique artist.

Or Lori's pretty and classic card. Her card is a go to card that would delight anyone who received it!

Jenny's card just make me smile so brightly. Love the scene she creates with the bunny in the plane. It's truly one of my favorites.

Swanky Stamper for August

One of the best things about stamping is that no cards are alike. Even when given the same template to work with, like this Sunglass template that Julie Masse created, each card was different. Like this happy, joyful card that Cyndi Bundy created. Just full of fabulousness. She has it made in the shade. Cyndi is our Swanky Stamper for August
