TCP Tuesday 203 and winning

Today's TCP Tuesday Challenge is a Color Challenge. And Lori is this week's Hostess with the Mostest! And this week, Lori is challenging you to use Tangerine, Lime Green and Sky Blue in your card. Such a fun and Springy Combo, don't you think?

Here's Nancy's Card for this week's combo. And with that chevron pattern, I think she was still being inspired by Jen's Inspiration Challenge. Her card is just adorable.

And speaking of Jen, you must check out her card. She doesn't stamp much in it, but her card really packs a punch.

ACK!

I tell you, I'm having the hardest time getting used to this new Blogger interface. I went to post something new and realized that my TCP Tuesday post was still in draft mode. *sigh* One day I will get it.

So up goes the post (it's below) and Voila! TCP Tuesday! Yay!
When you have a chance, read the post below and check out the cards by The Cat Pack.

Amy adds her card to the inspirational mix with her take on grass. So, so pretty.

And Lori colors me hoppy with her sweet grassy card.

I'm getting ready to head out to Boston for a trade show and to teach a couple of classes to the LSS owners. I LOVE going to Boston.

This year will be the first time there will be no snow when I go. It's going to be 80 degrees on Friday, I've read. I'm so excited because I get to meet up with Cat Packer, Julie Masse. And Kim van der sanden, Kim Hughes and Karolyn Loncon. And some other stampy friends that I only get to see when I go to these shows.

So I thought I'd leave you with a card that I'm going to be teaching in one of my classes. I would show you the whole cannoli, but, I went a little crazy with the new CutUps that will be coming out next month....and well, you know.

I used the Home, Tweet Home, Circus Panels, and Easy Rosettes CutUps.

I've been spending a lot of time on Pinterest and I just learned how to use our Easy Rosettes to make those pretty poppies. Best thing is that they are not too bulky and can actually fold flap to fit in an envie. Love that.

TCP Tuesday 202 and WINNING!

Today's TCP Tuesday Challenge is a Supply Challenge. And Julie is this week's Hostess with the Mostest! And this week, in honor of Spring, Julie is challenging you to put a little grass with class in your project. Confusing? If you take a peek at Julie's card, you will know what I mean. She uses "Kick Some Grass" and the Grass CutUps. I don't know if I've ever seen grass look as good. And I love that little bit of the Lacy Floral Doily she put in the corner. It just adds even more cuteness.

Now hop on over to Nancy's Blog and take a look at her card. It's really just the sweetest thing. One thing (among many) that Nancy excels at is her use of patterned paper. She really uses it as a canvas for her creations. LOVE!

If anyone gives Nancy a run for her money, it's Jen. Her clean, bold, design just makes my heart beat just a little bit faster.

TCP 201 and the Weekly Winner

Today's TCP Tuesday Challenge is an Inspiration Challenge. And Jen is the Hostess with the Mostest!

Jen is raring to go when it comes to Spring, and she's giving us this wonderful Inspiration Collage to get us in the right frame of mind. Terrific lime, yellow, and aqua chevrons to be exact. I don't know about you, but this reminds me of that Fruit Striped gum that used to be around when I was a kid. Not sure if it's still around, but I remember that I loved chewing that gum and it mad me so happy for the minute or so that it had flavor.

Want to try your hand at it? Here's even more inspiration.

Jen says Spring without using one flower in her wonderful shadowbox.

No one says Happy Birthday quite like Susan. She masked off a Swanky Poochie for a visit with a little birthday cake. Yummy!

Or how about a Sweet St. Paddy's Day card by Amy?

For more inspiration check the Cat Packers throughout the week!

And don't forget to check in tomorrow to see who helped us celebrate our 200th TCP Tuesday Challenge by winning our next NEW release.

Sketchy?

It's hard to believe that almost 4 years ago we had our very first TCP Tuesday Challenge.

Back then, we had only 4 different challenges. Color, Inspiration, Sketch and Stamp. Then, later on, we added a fifth, Technique/Supply.

Each week features a different one. We didn't want to only have a sketch challenge, or a color challenge, but a challenge that constantly challenged you (and us) to step out of the box. And let's face it, I bore easily.

I hope that you've had a little fun celebrating with us during this 200th Challenge. And, if you haven't, download our TCP Sketchbook. It contains virtually all of 30+ of our Sketch Challenges that we've had during TCP Tuesday. It's our gift to you.

But that's not all!
Comment on any of The Cat Packers blog posts that feature our 200th TCP Tuesday Sketch Challenge by Tuesday, March 13 and you could WIN our complete NEW release! (That's the one that I finished drawing this week) And that includes the dies, too! I'll post the winner on Wednesday, March 14.

See the Cat Packers blog listing over in the left column? Check them out.

You won't want to miss Amy's awesome card. Her cutting skills alone are amazing.

How about Jen's happy card? This one would be perfect for a Spring Birthday.

Julie's card is pretty sweet. Her take on the sketch is so fun and tweet. Yes, I said tweet.

Susan's card is a serious hoot. Love how she mixed it up, using components from lots of different stamp sets.

And, Amy finishes it off with a classy St. Paddy's day card. Not only was she inspired by the sketch, but a little St. Paddy's Day magic.

March Project of the Month

Julie Masse proves that you are never too old for an Easter treat. Especially, when it comes in the form of embellishments.

With a FREE downloadable template, this darling Easter Egg Box is easy to make and fill with the treat of your choice.

Check it out. The Crafty Easter Egg Box. It's the Project of the Month.

NOTE: There was a wee issue with the template, which has now been fixed. So if you downloaded the instructions and template, you may want to download them again.

Also, Blogger decided to mess with the Project of the Month Link, and I've fixed that, too.

March Swanky Stamper

Christine Okken — Swanky Stamper for March

When I first started seeing Christine's creations on her blog, I had no idea what her last name was. I was constantly referring to her as "ChristineCreations", which is the name of her blog. After seeing so many wonderful cards come across my screen, like this wonderfully colored and oh-so pretty card using Sugar, Sugar and so many others, I knew she was definitely a name I would have to learn.

How about this soft and pretty card that she created for the TCP Tuesday Color Challenge using Bunny Side Up? She created the background with the Scor-pal and the Scor-bug. I am definitely going to have to find mine to do this cute technique.

Or this sweet card using Warm Fuzzies? I'm loving the paper piecing that she did on this card. So cute.
