Limit your embellies to no more than two. You are not allowed to use twine, buttons or gems. Can you do it?
This challenge puts the emphasis on the stamps, inks and papers. And, the embellishment you choose will shine! That is, if you choose to use one at all.
Lori Tecler's sweet card, above, featuring Traveling Man, is all about the stamps, paper and coloring. This challenge is not about spending money to create.
Kelli Hull's pretty card really makes me think bubbles. With her embossed paper and sweet coloring, it's a wonderful way to remind someone to take some time for themselves.
Noelle McAdams pushes the limit a bit with her embellies. But, I really think that the group should be considered one. I'm loving her paper choice to go with the Under the Stars stamp set.
The Cat Pack really pushed themselves for this challenge? How about you? Are you up for the challenge?
If you've been playing along with us for the past TCP Tuesday
Challenges, you know that I've been been trying to challenge myself with
these challenges and think outside of the box. And, whenever possible, I
try to make cards that I can mail and actually use. So, this month's
Anti-Embellishment Challenge was perfect for me.
The challenge, is
to restrict the use of embellishments to no more than two. And, if you
use them, no twine, no buttons and no gems. ACK! Three of my favorite
things. So I had to really put on my thinking cap and I came up with
this Flip card using our CutUps Dies and Oh Chute!
I
even decorated the inside. And, my one embellishment, the star brad! I
can't believe how EASY it was to make. Crazy Easy. Don't believe me?
Check out the video!
It's the LAST Tuesday of the Month! And, if you haven't played yet, I hope you do soon! If The Cat Pack hasn't inspired you to paper piece, yet, then maybe todays postings will!
Susan makes my heart soar with this SWEET card! I'm loving how she took the sentiments from Fly High and made them her own by using our Coolvetica alphabet to add the word "and". That Susan is a clever Miss. Just the ship is paper pieced, but a little goes a long way!
Nancy has me dropping everything with her perfectly paper piecing chute embellished with some pearly pearls.
How about this bit of delicious sweetness from Jessica? She paper pieces the cupcake wrapper, but, what I can't stop looking at is the Chevron that uses to create that texture in the back panel.
Julie creates this adorable card with At Your Service and paper pieces the bow and soup bowl. But, she does some super fancy tricks with the Luggage Tags, overlaying the Chevron CutUps. And the border at the bottom is the Queen of Hearts, border die. It cuts two patterns at once, and she used both for a super pretty border.
Lastly, Lisa paper pieces the apron on PJ. Next to her fantabulous coloring, the apron is a perfect accompaniment. And, that sewing? It's definitely something I will be casing. Now, you've seen what we did with the challenge. Let's see what you can do.
Here are the Deets.

It's Tuesday! Which mean that it's TCP Tuesday! That means it's time for The Cat Pack to strut their stuff in this month's challenge
This challenge celebrates that under-used envelope, the long, tall one. The legal sized one. The Number Nine.
The challenge is to create a card that fits in the Long, Tall, Envelope.
Lori Teclerflys me to the moon, by taking her card and turning it sideways. That blingy swirl behind the Bunnyin a rocket ship is the perfect addition. And, that dembossed moon is just brilliant.
Nancy Thomas creates a fresh, crisp Holiday card making an Winter white Gingerbread man using our Man CutUps and embossed paper.
Wendy McGaffeyhas the penguin soaring in the clouds. Her bright and happy colors are the perfect pick me up.

It's the first Tuesday of the Month! Which mean that it's TCP Tuesday! That means it's challenge day!
Last month was Tag You're It.
This one is a Long, Tall, Challenge.
We tend to make the same size card. 4.25" x 5.25" or sometimes we get daring a do a square card or a bigger card.
Problem with these cards is that we have to buy special envies for the cards. Or for the square cards, we have to pay extra postage.
This challenge celebrates that under-used envelope, the long, tall one. The legal sized one. The Number Nine.
So, the challenge is to create a card that fits in the Long, Tall, Envelope. There are special challenges that come along with making a card this Long and Tall. The biggest one is it's shape. We aren't used to creating a card that is this long and skinny. What do you do with all that extra space.
The answer is, you use it. Take advantage of the long, flowing space, like I did here using my Waves CutUpsand the Ship Happens stamp set. The little note is cut using the Toppers CutUps. The card was perfect for layers of waves and a cupful of sweet penguins floating away.
Lori Tecler brings in another penguin with her card. She paper pieces the kite from the Up, Up and Away set. It's just darling! Kimberly also stamped up to this challenge. Check her out. She never disappoints. Now, I want to see what you stamp up! Here are the Deets.

It's the FOURTH Tuesday of the Month and can you bEliEve there is one more Tuesday left in the month of July? That means one more Tuesday to play along with our Monthly Challenge!
The challenge this month is to use a tag in your card or project. Your tag must be handmade, and not store bought. If it has a hole in it, it’s a tag. Easy, Peasy, right? YAY! Then, upload your card or project to the Inlinkz button you see on the right, for all to see in its taglike splendor.
One more Tuesday also means more TCP goodness from our Cat Pack!
Take a look at this SWEET card by Lori Tecler. She stamped the Key Phrases setand used the Key to Your HeartCutUps to cut the key out of metallic tape. I think that is a brilliant idea. You get that sparkle with hardly any weight added to your card. Then, she added the ribbon to the top of the kraft panel to complete the Tag Challenge
She added pearl embellishments and a pretty ribbon. This tag is fit for a king.....Hmmm. I wonder.... Now, you've seen what we did with the challenge. Let's see what you can do. Tag! You're it!

It's the first Tuesday of the Month! And you know what that means! It's TCP Tuesday! That means it's challenge day!
Last month was about Clean and Simple. This month is about The More the Merrier.
Layers and goodies are the key to this challenge. Encrusted is a word that comes to mind.
Can you heavy up on the embellishments while still keeping the focus on the message?
Here is my card. I used the sentiment from our newly released "Reel Experts" for the focal point on this card. And I created the flowers using our CutUps dies. Let's face it. This card is not meant to go in an envie, but to be presented tucked into a bouquet of flowers or sitting on a plate at dinner surrounded by your loved ones.
Here is a closer look at the flowers. I made the Hyacinth, Bachelor Buttons and Carnations using our Pom Pom Flower CutUps. I love how just one die can give you different looks. The Daffodil I made using our Sunflower Rosette and the Easy RosetteCutUps. They were super fun to make. I'll be posting a video as soon as I figure out how to get a clearer picture.
Noelle McAdams is showing off her mad pattern mixing skills in this card. LOVE all the interest that she creates without her card looking too busy. She's also using the Sunflower Rosette CutUps but topping it with a flower from our Lacy Floral DoilyCutUps that she placed in the background with a die cut she created using our Heart Swirl And the pretty little girl is from our Warm Fuzzies set. That set and all the kids from that artist are now 50% off!
When you think of Lori Tecler, you think CAS. So, I was wondering how she would do with this challenge. And, she proved she is a ROCKSTAR! Love this happy card using "What's Mew" and lots of our CutUps.
Susan Liles is a Reel Expert at this Challenge. She fancies up her card with ribbons, and buttons, and shinies! LOVE that she changed up the sentiment for a fresh fun one.
Wendy McGaffey is no slouch at this challenge! She took it quite literally, and added so many of our characters to adorn this card. You really need to see this card up close and personal for all the deets.
Now, you've seen what we did with the challenge. Let's see what you can do.

The TCP Tuesday Challenge for April was a Flower Challenge. The challenge was to pull out your flower stamps and dies and make them the focal point of your card. And what could be more floral than hearts and flowers, and "Oui, Oui", sheep that actually "look" like flowers? I truly love this French inspired card that Christine Veneruso created! So playful and pretty and romantic all at the same time.
This card is a stunner and Christine wins a selection of stamps and dies from an upcoming release and gets to play along with the Cat Pack, too!
We had quite a few wonderful cards this month! This one is by Christine Okken. She mixed our Sock Monkey with the bouquet from our Bloom set and tossed in a couple of die-cuts from our Toppers CutUps and Voila! SUPER CUTE CARD.
How about this sweet card from Doni High!? I love the girl bunny from A Girl and her Cake nestled in a pile of flowers. I guess flowers are to Spring as leaves are to Fall. Just adorable!
Tomorrow we present a brand-new challenge and I hope you play along. You could will stamps and dies! All you have to do is play along!
Hi ALL! It's the very last Tuesday of the Month and therefore, my very last bit of nudging to get you to play along with our challenge.
This month, it's a Floral challenge. We love flowers and Spring is almost here. We generally use flowers to embellish our projects, but this challenge is all about making the flower the STAR of the project. I want you to make the flower the center of attention. The focal point.
Now, get out your stamps and dies and PLAY you could win a selection of dies and stamps from our next release! Next Tuesday there will be a NEW challenge!

It's Tuesday! And there are only two Tuesdays, counting this one, before the next TCP Tuesday begins. Time sure does fly.
This month's challenge is to use flowers as the focal point of your card or project. A very good friend of mine, once asked "Why Flowers all the time". She was under the impression that flowers were used too often in card making.
And, I suppose the answer to her question is "Why not?" Flowers are so happy. They are nature's balloons. I was in Boston this weekend and there was such a sadness in the air. But, also, there was hope. So, it didn't surprise me to see tulips and daffodils and hyacinth blooming and peeking out from their own little spot in the ground.
This weekend, I was blessed to see two of The Cat Pack, Julie Masse and Kimberly Gajewski. I loved meeting up with them and spending time with them. So, Kimberly's card using the Sunflower Rosette and our new Words of Love set is just perfect. And, how I feel about both of them.
I'm in love with this card by Lori Tecler. It's so bright and happy and she uses the Flower Button CutUps, the Toppers CutUps, AND the Grass CutUps to make this great scene. Check out her blog for more detail. Definitely worth a second, third, or fourth look.
Are you inspired? I know I am. Pull out your TCP stamps and dies and PLAY!

It's Tuesday! And, the Cat Pack is stamping up some flowery goodness!
This month's challenge is to use FLOWERS as your main focal point in your card or projects.
Pretty easy, right? Let's see what the Cat Pack has to show you for inspiration.
Noelle pulls out the Gimme Some Sugar set and uses the lolly holder and turns the lollies into flowers. Voila! Instant vase. And the stand is now a flower stand. Brilliant.

It's Tuesday and that means it's time for me to give you more inspiration to play along with us, on our TCP Tuesday Challenge. This month, we are challenging you to get "Flowertastic!"
This month it's all about flowers. If April Showers bring May Flowers, after the storm we had in my neck of the woods, May should be, indeed, flowerful. But, impatient gal, that I am, I want to see those flowers, NOW. So, your challenge, if you decide to accept it, is to use flowers as the main focal point of your card.
This week, I'm using our Flower Button CutUps and our Simply Said Stamp Set to make this card. And, because our Flower Button CutUps cuts multiple flowers in one pass, this card was just as easy. I used the Petal Roller to sculpt each petal to give more of a dimensional look. And, the Doily from last week's card using the Lacy Floral Doily Die.
Take a gander at Nancy Thomas' sweet card. She used several of our CutUps, but the star of the show are those flowers from the Pinwheel CutUps. Notice that pretty vine entwined with the flowers? That's the Heart Swirl! So CLEVER!
If you want to play

It's the first Tuesday of the Month and that means it's time for another TCP Tuesday Challenge. Are you ready for another challenge? Last month's challenge was a doozie! So, this month, I thought I'd make it easier on you.
In the words of the oh-so talented Susan Liles, it's time to get "Flowertastic!"
That's right! This month it's all about flowers. They say that April Showers bring May Flowers, but, I want to see those flowers, NOW. So, your challenge, if you decide to accept it, is to use flowers. And, not just as an embellishment, but as the main focal point of your card.
I just love flower sculpting so much that I created a Lacy Floral Doily Die to make it easier. I paired it with our Window CutUps, used the Petal Roller and Voila! Instant pretty. Well, almost.
