TCP Tuesday 126

It's Tuesday! And it's a blog hop, too. We're kicking off our 12 NEW Stamp sets and 4 NEW dies with a super TCP Tuesday Blog Hop. If you came from Sony's blog, you are at the end of the Blog Hop. But make sure you start at the Amy's blog, for the beginning of this awesome hop.

She's Mad for Plaid. She's challenging us to use plaid in our designs. Since I went to Catholic School, I wore plaid from 1st through High School. For years, I refused to wear plaid and the sight of it made me cringe. Needless to say, many, many years have gone by and I've embraced the plaid. Here is my take on the challenge.

Yes, I totally love the new pennant die. You get 4 dies in the package. Two big ones, and two small ones. Here I've made a Halloween Banner using our newest Halloween/Fall stamps. Can you see this?

Here is a close up of the letters.

I used "Babydoll" to stamp the word "Spooky". This is, by far, my most favorite Alphabet.

Then I used "Mwah", Little Devil, Witchy, and Who's This to stamp out the characters.

Added bats punched from a Marvy Punch.

Colored with Gamsol and Colored Pencil.

The finishing touch? Spiderwebs, of course. I love this project so much I'm going to be teaching it at tradeshow in Orlando to Stamp and Scrapbook stores.

Want to play along?

Just add your own design to your Splitcoast Gallery using keywords TCPTues126 or to your blog and then use the Inlink button at the bottom of the post to add your design to this page. You could be eligible to be the next Swanky Stamper of the Month and win 25 smackeroos, that's $25 in Cat's Cash.

Here are the deets for the challenge.

1. Each a week one of The Cat Pack will host a challenge.
2. The challenges will vary {stamp, technique, color, theme, sketch, etc.}
3. You will have until the end of the month to complete the challenge.
4. Post your design using the Inlink Button at the bottom of this post. Your design must be linked and visible to this blog post to be considered.
5. TCP stamps are not required for this challenge.
6. There will be one winner each month. They will be deemed that month’s Swankiest Stamper and get $25 in Cat’s Cash {money to spend on the TCP site!}.
7. Only designs posted to this blog post will be considered for the Swanky Stamper.
8. The newly crowned Swanky Stamper will be announced on the First of the Month and have his/her winning entry posted on The Cat’s Pajamas website where he/she will reign for the entire month.

This is FANTABULOUS, Alma. And you're gamsol/pencil coloring is A-mazing. I really do need some lessons in that. We should all get together for a Kitty Klass for the pencils/watercolors/markers...you know, just us Cat Pack gals!

Oh, so sorry - just going back through the challenges and just noticed this one says TCP stamp is required...not always... so I guess I didn't read well enough! Please remove mine then.
