Project of the Month
I've had so many people ask how to make the Spooky Banner that I posted on my blog for the new release Blog Hop. A lot of you couldn't believe how easy it was with the Pennant Dies, so I decided to give you the instructions, to judge for yourself. The Spooky Banner. It's our Project of the Month.
I'd love to see what you can do with the Pennant Dies. Do you make a Spooky Banner? Or something else as groovy. I want to see.

TCP Tuesday 127
It's Tuesday! And Carole has passed the color challenge mantle on to Sony. Carole is going to be taking on our weekly newsletter, in addition to doing special projects for us. So if you want more Carole, sign up for the newsletter on the left side of this blog.
And Sony's first challenge to you is to use teal, olive and eggplant in your card or project. I don't know what it is, but I love those colors. Reminds me of the end of the summer gardening season.
Check the other Cat Packers throughout the week, and you may see their take on this challenge.
Me? I'll be in Florida at Violette's for a dual trunk show with my pal, Kim and MFT. The trunk show runs from Thursday through the weekend. We'll be doing Make and Takes' from 12-6 on Thursday. So call and reserve your spot. 863.644.0801.
Then I'll be teaching how to do the Spooky Banner at a tradeshow for LSSs. Off to finish kitting.

TCP Tuesday 126
It's Tuesday! And it's a blog hop, too. We're kicking off our 12 NEW Stamp sets and 4 NEW dies with a super TCP Tuesday Blog Hop. If you came from Sony's blog, you are at the end of the Blog Hop. But make sure you start at the Amy's blog, for the beginning of this awesome hop.
She's Mad for Plaid. She's challenging us to use plaid in our designs. Since I went to Catholic School, I wore plaid from 1st through High School. For years, I refused to wear plaid and the sight of it made me cringe. Needless to say, many, many years have gone by and I've embraced the plaid. Here is my take on the challenge.
Yes, I totally love the new pennant die. You get 4 dies in the package. Two big ones, and two small ones. Here I've made a Halloween Banner using our newest Halloween/Fall stamps. Can you see this?
Here is a close up of the letters.
I used "Babydoll" to stamp the word "Spooky". This is, by far, my most favorite Alphabet.
Then I used "Mwah", Little Devil, Witchy, and Who's This to stamp out the characters.
Added bats punched from a Marvy Punch.
Colored with Gamsol and Colored Pencil.
The finishing touch? Spiderwebs, of course. I love this project so much I'm going to be teaching it at tradeshow in Orlando to Stamp and Scrapbook stores.

Day 7
It's the very last day of Sneaky Peeks. Can you believe it? Here is the very last set to unveil. "Witchy" Isn't she cute. LOVE the kitty. But you knew that didn't you?
All the sets I've previewed here and 5 I haven't, plus the 4 dies will be available for purchase at 11pm EST. And if you go to the Pajama Party and stay til the end, there just might be a little, okay, big surprise announced at the end.
In the meantime, check out Joanne, Jen, Carole and Jackie throughout the day for some super designs using this witchy miss.

Day 6
Wow. I can't believe that Sneaky Peek Week is almost over! Was it as good for you as it was for me? ;)
"Hello Pumpkin" features those troublesome 3 amigos. You know they had to show their rabble rousing little faces. This time they are in a decidedly Fall frame of mind. I love the little guy on the right, rocking the pumpkin while his friend tries to get comfortable.
Have you seen some of the cards that the Cat Pack have done with this image. So much fun.
Check out Susan, Joanne, Tracy and Sony throughout the day for a peek at this set, and perhaps a peek at another stamp set, "Ski Bunny".

Day 5
I know, I know. Owls are SO yesterday. But when I saw this cute little girl with the owl on her head I knew it would be perfect for Halloween and Fall. BRRRR! Can't you just feel the chill in the air? Or is it claws in your head? No matter. This sweet image is in the upcoming set, "Who's This?" This image is so fun to color, but don't take my word for it, check out Carole, Jackie and Amy. You could see this new image or another of our new sets, "Deep Breath."
Day 4
It's Day 4 in our Sneaky Peek Week, gearing up for the big release next Tuesday. It's been awhile since we actually did Halloween in our neck of the woods. Not because we don't loOOOOve Halloween, but because you can only do a pumpkin, a bat and a spider so many times.
This release we have a couple of GREAT Halloween sets. This is "MWahh!" And it's one of my favorites. Not only does it have great sayings and a couple of small graphics, but it has two, yes TWO larger images that are so fun to color.
Check out Leigh, Susan, Jen, Sony AND Jackie throughout the day for their take on this set and another set coming out "Just Chillin"

Day 3
It's Day 3 of Sneaky Peek Week and I'm happy to show you more of this great little bunny. I love this little bunny. I knew when I first saw him that he had to join The Cat's Pajamas' menagerie.
He's just so adorable here in his shiny skates. I'm sure he can do all sorts of camels and spins and axels and the like. Makes me tired just listing them. He's featured in the stamp set "Skating Bunny". Makes sense, no?
Anyway, check out Ana, Sony and previous Swanky Stamper, Jackie for their take on this little fellow. I can almost guarantee you'll love what they do with him. Please leave them a comment and let them know how much.
Sneaky Peek - Day 2
It's Day 2 of Sneaky Peek Week!I had so many people ask for Sprinkle, I had to cave and do her up proud. She's getting mighty old and cranky, but she loves a spot of tea, and cupcakes. Yes, cupcakes. Well, at least her owner does.
And what would a tea party be without a big hat? Gotta have it. This is just part of the new set called "Coffee, Tea or Meow!" coming out next Tuesday.
Want to see it in action? Check out Jen, Amy, Ana's blog throughout the day for their posting of this fab new stamp set. And don't forget to leave a comment. It just might pay off in the end ;)

TCP Tuesday 125
It's that time again! We're a week away from our NEW FALL release on September 14. And it's gonna be a big one. 12 NEW sets and 4 NEW dies. So I thought we'd give you a couple of Sneaky Peeks to get your creative juices flowing.
The first is from the same talented artist that created that adorable bunny you saw in the last release. This set is called "Sheepish" and features another one of her darling characters, a sheep. I don't know what his name is, but he is adorable, no? He just makes me so warm and toasty. And that is not easy in my neck of the woods where it has consistently been in the foggy 60s.
Want to see the stamp in action along with another stamp set from another brand new artist? Check out Sony, Jen, Joanne's, blog today. And don't forget to leave a comment on their blogs. There just might be a set or 12 to give away at our Pajama Party on September 13, on Splitcoast Stampers on our forum 9-11pm est.
Want to see more of our new release?
It's Tuesday, so it must be TCP Tuesday. Toni is our Hostess with the Mostess for this challenge, and she's inspired by this photo. And she wants you to be inspired too and design something. It conjures up all sorts of things in my head. Back to school, pinwheels, pointy things.
Want to play? Just use Toni's picture as a jumping off point and go for it. You could win $25 in Cat's Cash! And check out the card on her blog, it's another new set, "Witchy" which you'll see more of next week.
Here are the deets for the challenge.

Project of the Month
Project of the Month
Whip up a honey of a gift for that tea drinking friend. This Honey Tea Bear by Susan Liles is sweet. It's easy and it's our Project of the Month. Download the instructions here.
Swanky Stamper of the Month
I love it when an artist takes something and gives it a little twist. And that twist, pushes an extraordinary card into drop jaw fantastic. That's what Swanky Stamper of the Month, Tori Wild did here with her stitching. Not only did she use it as a freeform frame around the card, but she used it to define the "mat" she created around the whale. In lesser hands, the mix of patterns and textures might be a little distracting. Not so, in Tori's excellent care.
