Congratulations Jenn!
Okay. You probably know by now what a great talent our September Special Guest Designer, Jenn Muraoka is.
So when an opening on our Design Team (aka Cat Pack) occurred I pretty much knew the first day or so who I wanted to fill it. Yuppers, Jenn Muraoka. But, of course, I had to see what she was made of and asked her to be our very first Special Guest Designer. And she didn't disappoint. The projects she did blew me away. So I had to ask her to join the team before her month was over.
Congrats to Jenn and TCP for getting such a great new design team member. Woo! Hoo!

Arrr!
Did you miss Talk like a Pirate Day yesterday? No worries. You can celebrate a belated one! This Friday we'll be releasing a Brand New Clearly Swanky Set featuring some of our most popular Piratey images. 17 in total.
And that's not all. We'll be releasing 2 BRAND NEW SETS, and countless rubber stamps.
AND that's not all. If you buy all 3 sets you get them at $15 OFF the regular price. WHAAAAT? Yup, that's right! Instead of $54 for all three, you get the whole shebang for $39.00! How's that for some Piratey goodness?
Check for sneak peeks on our Design Team's blog. And there just may be some blog candy to be given away.

Jenn Muraoka
She's back.
Jenn Muraoka, our Special Guest Designer for September, that is. Have you had a chance to check out her blog, Kiyomi Krafts? She's only been stamping "seriously" for 6 months, but her colorful style and fun designs make her seem like a pro. Seriously.
She answered a couple of questions for us last week, but we wanted to know more and see more of her work. Check out this wonderful card using our "Having a Pow Wow" Clearly Swanky Set and jumprings.
What was the first stamp you bought, and what was your last?
My first stamp was Taz from Warner Brothers. The last stamp I bought was a Rachelle Anne Miller stamp.
What is your favorite color combo?
Pink and Brown of course!
Well, none of these cards are Pink and Brown. But I guess we can forgive her. Tell us...
What has been your happiest moment?
My happiest moment was meeting my hubby. He is an integral part of all my subsequent happy moments!
Besides stamping, what is your next passion?
One of my biggest passions is sports! And life just got a little better because I can hear the crunching of pads once again ~ my favorite season just kicked off this week, Football!

Why is it?
Why does is always seem that when you have to something, you want to do something else.
This week I've been getting and entering all my receipts and financials together so that I could do my taxes. Yessireee Bob. You heard me — Taxes. Last year's, in fact. But inbetween entering in the cost of cushion and internet costs I found myself doodling. Doodling some pretty good stuff.
This month I'm throwing my big sis a birthday tea. Since I missed the whole pre-wedding shower thing, I'm throwing her a little shindig so that she can pass around the photos and watch the video and the like. It'll be outside in the garden of a former bed and breakfast. And since we are California the weather will still be nice. I'm hoping for a breeze to ruffle the ribbons on the pinwheels that I plan for favors.
So while the numbers in my head are swirling around on paper I'm planning out the invitations. And I realized I have nothing suitable to stamp for the tea. So hence, the doodling. Some lovely things can come from not wanted to do things, I must say. What will I do next year? I've hired an accountant.

Jenn Muraoka
Meet Jenn Muraoka.
She brings a breath of fresh air to the Stamping world—straight from Hawaii. Her blog, Kiyomi Krafts is a whimsical mix of fun, instructional tutorials and wonderful card designs. Want to know how to do something? Check Jenn's blog. She's probably already explained how to do it.
So what makes Jenn tick? Enquiring minds want to know... (And check out some of her wonderful designs as you find out more about her.)
What's your favorite product?
My favorite product is, by far, ribbon. I love the texture ribbon adds to a card. I love the way ribbon can elevate an ordinary card into something spectacular. And I love the beautiful elegance of a satin ribbon. Absolutely Yummy!!!
What's your favorite stamping technique or tip?
I love to emboss, however, I never considered myself an embossing kind of gal. I was in embossing denial, so to speak, until just recently. So now I can admit freely that I LOVE to emboss. Did I mention I love to emboss!?
What got you into stamping?
I was always a crafty girl and loved to do anything that dealt with art. I had rubber stamps around me since I was in high school, but I did not get serious about stamping until February of this year. I remember surfing the internet when I came across a bubbly, amazingly talented stamper by the name of Kristina Werner. I can honestly say that my crafting life has never been the same since that day! =)
How long have you been stamping?
I have dabbled in stamping since I was in high school which was about 18 years ago. Serious stamping ~ just a little over 6 months.
6 MONTHS? Sheesh! She's scary good, no?
Want to see more of Jenn's designs? Check back next Wednesday.

Swanky Stamper
Jen Jordan — Swanky Stamper for September
When going through all the great entries this month, Jen Jordan's card for Toni's Color Challenge seemed to jump up and do a little dance to get my attention. This card is innovative and rolls a ton of different techinques into one POWerful project.
Jen wins $25 in Cat's Cash and the coveted title of Swanky Stamper of the Month for September.
Want to be Swanky Stamper? Can't win if you don't play.
